Rick Ross and Wale MMG Tour

Date: December 1st, 2012
Time: 7:00pm-10:45pm
Location: Sleep Train Arena Sacramento, CA
Ages: All Ages

Okay, So the fun thing about this trip is that is was spontaneuous. One of my friends won tickets off the radio only a few short days before the show, and since Sacramento is just a couple hours away from Reno we couldn't pass it up!

If Hip-hop represents one thing, it's RESPECT.

PROS
  1. Free Tickets
  2. Venue Security
  3. Stage Production
  4. Sound Volume
CONS
  1. Show Length
  2. Assigned Seats/ No General Admission
  3. Age Variation

Ok, So let me break it down for you. We had assigned seats with our tickets, which ended up being alright despite the distance from the stage because the sound volume was at the perfect level. Surprising considering it is usually so loud I cant think or so quiet i can hear the conversation next to me.

Anyways, I am never a fan of assigned seating only because there are always those people who act like they are there to watch a play and insist on sitting down the entire time...

But, One great thing about this show is that while the security and officer coverage was in surplus, I didn't feel suffocated or like I was going to get caught underage drinking...

Now I'm not racist in anyway, and I mean this with the most respect possible, but we were probably the smallest and whitest people there (besides the 9 year old...) which could be why it seemed like they could care less.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the production put into this show. There were wonderful lights and it was pretty cool to see indoor firework displays.

Overall Rating: 6 out of 10

I still cannot get over how early this show ended. Not okay.

Either way, forgetting technicalities, I had a total BLAST with my friend! One thing that I can tell you is always true for any event is that who you go with will make the biggest difference. To go with someone who just wants to dance, rage and have a good time made this event a 10 in my books!

Plus, a last minute trip is always exciting!
